Terms of Service

Last updated: June 27, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your purchase and use of the Speed of Light WordPress plugin (the “Plugin”) and the website at speedoflight.pro (the “Site”), operated by [Company Legal Name], doing business as Digitaldive (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing or using the Plugin, or by using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use the Plugin.

2. License

Subject to your active subscription and these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install and use the Plugin on the number of WordPress sites permitted by your plan. License keys are managed and activated through our reseller and licensing provider, Freemius.

  • Per-plan site limits. Solo activates the Plugin on 1 site, Studio on up to 5 sites, and Agency on up to 25 sites. Every plan includes the complete Plugin; only the site count and support priority differ.
  • Commercial use. You may use the Plugin on your own sites and on sites you build or manage for clients, within your plan's site limit.
  • No resale of code. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent or republish the Plugin's code or your license key as a standalone product, nor remove or alter any copyright, license or attribution notices.

The Plugin's WordPress-facing PHP is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL); these Terms govern your subscription, license key, updates and support — not the rights granted to you by the GPL where it applies.

3. Plans, Billing & Renewals

The Plugin is sold as an annual subscription. Current pricing is Solo $20/year, Studio $99/year and Agency $179/year, in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes. Prices may change, but a change will not affect a term you have already paid for.

  • Payment. Purchases and billing are processed securely by Freemius, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. By purchasing, you also agree to Freemius's applicable terms.
  • Auto-renewal. To keep updates and support uninterrupted, subscriptions renew automatically each year using your saved payment method, at the then-current renewal price, until cancelled.
  • Cancel anytime. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Freemius account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your license stays active for the remainder of the paid term.

4. Free Trial & Refunds

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial; if you cancel anytime during the trial, you pay nothing. Because the trial lets you evaluate the full Plugin before paying, we do not offer refunds after the trial converts to a paid term — but if you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected] and we will make it right. Full details are in our refund policy.

5. Updates & Support

An active subscription includes access to Plugin updates and to email support for the duration of your term. We aim to keep the Plugin compatible with currently supported versions of WordPress (6.0+) and PHP (7.4+), but we do not guarantee compatibility with every theme, plugin, host or third-party service. If your subscription lapses, the Plugin will keep running, but you will no longer receive updates or support until you renew.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Plugin or the Site to: violate any law or third-party right; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or the licensing infrastructure; circumvent license activation or usage limits; reverse engineer the Plugin except to the extent permitted by applicable law or the GPL; or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Site. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your sites and for testing significant configuration changes.

7. Intellectual Property

The Plugin, the Site, and all associated trademarks, logos, documentation, designs and content are owned by [Company Legal Name] or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. “Speed of Light” and “Digitaldive” are marks of their respective owner.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Plugin and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Plugin will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will achieve any specific performance, speed, score or ranking result. Performance outcomes depend on your hosting, theme, plugins and configuration.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will [Company Legal Name], Digitaldive or our suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill or business, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Plugin or the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Plugin will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Plugin in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Plugin or the Site after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Jurisdiction] for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Plugin.
